My Life with Cystic Fibrosis
Hi, my name is Makenzie and I am 11 years old and I have cystic fibrosis. To stay healthy I do breathing treatments and chest therapy every day. I also have to take about 20 to 22 pills a day just to digest my food. I go to see the doctor (CF clinic) every 3 months―just to check in. In case you didn't know CF is an inherited chronic disease. Since 1955, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has been the driving force behind the pursuit of a cure.
